SUMMARY:The Lord Mayor's Dragon Boat Race Day
DESCRIPTION:The pleasure of your company is requested\, along with your Liverymen and Freemen\, to join The Rt. Hon. Lord Mayor and Lady Mayoress for the Lord Mayor’s Dragon Boat Race Day on 29th July\, 11am – 4pm at Chillington Hall. \nThe Mansion House\, Aldermanic\, and Common Council Teams invite you to take up the challenge of racing them for the Lord Mayor’s Cup. How better to build team spirit and encourage healthy rivalry than to take 17 of your finest\, put them in a dragon boat on Chillington’s mile-wide lake and cheer them on as they race for guts and glory! \nRegistration is just £1\,000 per boat (£60 per person) for a full team of 17\, all of whom must be aged 16+ and able to swim. Entry includes an exclusive event t-shirt and lunch pack as well as free access to the private competitors’ enclosure\, the festival village and Hall tours for each team member. Register your Livery team now at http://bit.ly/DragonBoatRace2018 and let battle commence! \nOnce registered\, competitors are encouraged to raise £250 each (£4\,250 per team) in aid of the Lord Mayor’s Appeal charities Samaritans\, OnSide and Place2Be. This can be raised easily and conveniently via the Appeal JustGiving page https://www.justgiving.com/lordmayorsappeal-2018 \nYou and your party are also invited to apply for passes to the exclusive Lord Mayor’s Enclosure. Do book early though\, as the number of Lord Mayor’s Enclosure passes will be limited.
